The Missionary Life

On August 13, 2009, Dr. David Cummins, a "Hero of the Faith" was called to his eternal home.  We had known Dr. Cummins since youth pastor days in Grand Blanc, Michigan.

Dr. Cummins could have the title of "Mr. Missionary;" it was always a delight to have him as our keynote speaker during mission conferences.

He was to retire this year and had plans to begin writing.  We had looked forward to reading of his missionary experiences. He is missed but remembered!

Dr. Neil Cadwell was a classmate of ours during our Pillsbury Baptist Bible College days (1959-1963).

He has founded "Neil Cadwell Evangelistic Association" and also has a missions outreach in the Ukraine where God has allowed him to teach and train many nationals who are now serving God in full-time ministry.

We thank God for his faithful, diligent outreach to those who need to know Christ.

(Pictured is Neil and one of the graduates; doesn't she look happy?)

Gene and Peggy Mumford were classmates of ours at Pillsbury Baptist Bible College (1959-1963).  They have faithfully served in France for over 40 years.

They are currently seeking God's will about a ministry needed in an area with more than 50,000 people and no gospel witness.  Discussion of this need will be taken up at their upcoming business meeting on May 2.

Pray for God's direction in this important matter.
